Job Description:

Target is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in San Jose, California. As an entry-level position, we are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, innovative, and possess strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities: - Process and reconcile customer payments - Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments - Prepare and send out invoices - Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies - Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Maintain accurate records of transactions - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information

Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
