Online Accountant

Job Description:

Packaging Corp. of America is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Online Accountant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This part-time position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage online accounting systems and software to ensure accurate financial records - Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team - Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets - Assist with tax preparation and audit processes - Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies - Provide support for online billing and invoicing processes - Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities - Assist in developing financial strategies to drive business growth - Stay updated on accounting trends and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification preferred - Proven experience in online accounting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail - Energetic and driven personality - Strong presentation and creativity skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity
