Online Accounts Payable

Job Description: As an Online Accounts Payable Associate at Staples in San Antonio, Texas, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions for the company. This part-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies - Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner - Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions - Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports - Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any payment issues or inquiries - Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of efficient accounts payable processes

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Passionate and reliable work ethic - Innovative thinking and leadership skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
