Job Description - Church Event Coordinator - Part-Time

We are excited to invite a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our community as an Activities Coordinator & Director of Communications. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead a variety of engaging activities and ensure clear, consistent communication within our congregation and the broader community. As the Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for crafting a rich tapestry of events that foster a sense of belonging and community spirit. This includes scheduling, planning, and promoting activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our congregation. Your role will also involve keeping our community informed through various channels, such as social media, church signage, and other communication platforms. In addition to your event planning prowess, you will provide essential support for special programs, coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers, and assist with administrative tasks in our office. If you possess marketing design experience and skills in graphic and media arts, we welcome you to bring your expertise to enhance our communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a warm, approachable demeanor.
