Job Description - Office Manager - Remote Work

Job Description:


Newmont Mining is seeking an experienced and driven Office Manager to join our team in a remote work capacity based in the Dallas, Texas area. This part-time position is ideal for an entry-level professional looking to gain valuable experience in office management within the mining industry.


Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate administrative duties for the remote office location - Assist with scheduling, organizing meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for team members - Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls - Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure timely reordering when necessary - Assist with coordinating company events and team-building activities - Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities - Support the HR department with onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records - Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism


Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Previous experience in an office management or administrative role is a plus - Must be driven, independent, and possess strong negotiation and presentation skills
