Clinical

• 6 weeks of house staff medicine coverage per year

Program

• Lead morning reports as needed
• Participate in PI/QI projects
• Participate in annual DOM CME conference
• Participate in residency applicant interviews per need

Commitment and dedication to education of resident physicians in all clinical areas

• Maintain good relationships with all clinical educators
• Participate in the many educational efforts of the GSM

Attending physician on house staff medicine

• Member of the Clinical Competence Committee
• Member of the Program Evaluation Committee
• Other academic committees as assigned by the PD or Chair

Responsibilities for Resident Education

• Principal teaching responsibility for IM residents (Morning report, M&M, CPC, Patient safety, etc as needed)
• Bedside teaching

Research

• Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations

Administrative

• Attend departmental committee meetings

Basic Qualification

• MD, AB IM Certified
