Part-Time Distribution Center Operator

We are looking for part-time Distribution Center Operator with a desire to excel in a fast-paced high-tech environment, to continue our tradition of producing high-quality hosiery in our finishing department.

Hours of Work: 9am to 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick and pack orders.
• Apply proper shipping labels and packing lists to cartons.
• Seal cartons and move them to the proper location for further processing.
• Place stock into picking locations.
• Apply tickets and labels to product prior to shipment.
• Weigh cartons for shipment. Label the cartons and provide documentation for shipment. Move or send cartons to the proper distribution center location for shipment.
• Take inventory of products, cases, boxes, etc. as directed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to be flexible and work under pressure in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Ability to interact in a proactive manner with peers and management and work as a team player.
• Must be capable of standing and walking up to 12 hours per day.
• Must be capable of frequent shoulder-height reaching and bending and able to lift 25#.
• Capable of adhering to Standard Work Procedures.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication).

PREFERENCES:

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
