Pharmacist - Part-Time

Horizon Long Term Care Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Pharmacist looking for their next challenge to work on-site between Kalamazoo Long Term Care Pharmacy in Kalamazoo and Horizon Long Term Care Pharmacy in Grand Rapids on a part-time basis.

The Pharmacist works closely and effectively with Pharmacy Technicians, Data Entry Technicians, and other KLTCP and Horizon staff, to ensure the Pharmacy's smooth operation regarding medications. The Pharmacist represents KLTCP and Horizon on a daily basis and builds trust and strong relationships between the Pharmacy and our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and dispensing of customized medications to meet the unique needs of our patients. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.

Regulatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Valid pharmacist license in the State of Michigan.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred but not required.
