Job Description - Administrative Coordinator

Job Description:


Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a motivated and confident individual to join our team as an Administrative Coordinator in San Jose, California. As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the administrative field.


Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to the team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence - Assist with data entry, file maintenance, and organization of documents - Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for team members - Assist with event planning and coordination - Handle incoming calls and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner - Perform general office tasks such as ordering supplies, organizing mail, and maintaining office cleanliness - Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall efficiency and productivity of the team


Requirements: - Must be motivated and confident in handling various tasks and responsibilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Demonstrated persuasion and innovation skills - Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite - High school diploma or equivalent
