Call Center Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

EOG Resources is seeking a passionate and resilient Call Center Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis in Chicago, Illinois. As an entry-level position, we are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, services, and company policies. 3. Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. 4. Use emotional intelligence and negotiation skills to de-escalate tense situations and find mutually beneficial resolutions. 5. Update customer records and information in the company database. 6. Meet established KPIs for call volume, customer satisfaction, and resolution time. 7. Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and improve overall customer experience. 8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers.

Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. 6. Passion for providing exceptional customer service. 7. Resilience in handling difficult customers and situations. 8. Emotional intelligence to empathize with customers and adjust communication style as needed. 9. Negotiation skills to find creative solutions to customer issues.
