Job Description - Customer Care Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:


Oscar Health is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Customer Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will be fully remote and based in Los Angeles, California. As an Associate Level position, we require a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner - Provide accurate information about our products and services to customers - Assist customers with account management tasks such as updating personal information and making payments - Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay current on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers - Identify trends in customer inquiries and provide feedback to management to improve processes and procedures


Requirements: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task - Emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers - Proficiency in using customer service software and systems - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
