Job Description - Customer Support Manager - Remote Work

WellCare Health Plans is seeking a part-time Customer Support Manager to join our team on a remote basis in San Francisco, California. As a mid-to-senior level position requiring 7 years of experience, we are looking for a highly adaptable individual who is reliable, demonstrates strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of customer support representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery. 2. Develop and implement customer support policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. 3. Monitor customer support metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 4. Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and resolve customer issues. 6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer support.


Requirements: 1. 7 years of experience in a customer support role, preferably in a managerial capacity. 2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. 5. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. 6. Proficiency in customer support software and tools. 7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
