Guest Services Representative - Part-Time

The Dawes Arboretum has an immediate need for a part-time (up to 23 hours per week) Guest Services Representative. Scheduled shifts will vary to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your purpose in this role is to provide high-quality impactful customer service, whether by phone or in person. You will champion our mission by sharing accurate information/directions, promoting upcoming events, and providing assistance with gift shop transactions, memberships and program registrations. Attention to detail, ability to resolve issues and multi-tasking are just a few of the key skills essential for success in this role. Some of the specific responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and ensure they feel welcomed by providing cheerful and courteous customer service, whether at the Gatehouse or in the Gift Shop.
• Promote The Arboretum, its programs, classes and events.
• Assist guests with admission into the Arboretum by verifying membership or accepting payment from non-members at the Gatehouse.
• Operate the point of sale system and utilize various computer programs.
