Live Chat Agent - Remote

GrubHub is seeking an experienced and dedicated Remote Live Chat Agent to join our team in the United States. As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support and assistance to our users through live chat interactions. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility to work remotely from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities:

Engage with users in real-time through live chat, providing prompt and accurate responses to their inquiries, concerns, and requests. Assist users with placing orders, navigating the GrubHub platform, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing general product and service information. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary. Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while effectively managing multiple chat conversations simultaneously. Keep detailed records of customer interactions, including issue resolution and relevant information, in our internal systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as the Customer Support and Technical teams, to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely issue resolution. Stay updated on GrubHub's products, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to users. Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer support or live chat agent role, preferably within the food delivery or online services industry. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding effective solutions to customer issues. Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries, complaints, or escalations. Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of chat conversations while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Familiarity with customer support tools, chat platforms, and ticketing systems is preferred. Availability to work on a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs. Salary: The salary range for this position is between $2900 and $3800 per month in US local currency.
