Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary The Ramp Supervisor will manage, coordinate, and control airport activities for Ramp Services. This position may include responsibility for communication between Airport Board officials and individual customers with the Company. The scope of the job varies with the size of the operation and its primary line of business. Additional duties are:

  • Monitor the quantity and quality of work performance.
  • Oversee and advise on staffing requirements.
  • Participate in the training, coaching, counseling, hiring, and termination of subordinates.
  • Ensure compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards, and contractual agreements.
  • Monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
  • Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation per the corporate security program and TSA legislation.
  • Ensure compliance at all times to meet company audit requirements.
  • Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan
  • Ensure all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and display their badge at all times.
  • Administer practices fairly and equitably, where all employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties are treated with respect.Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of airport operations, including dispatching flights in a safe and timely manner.
  • May also be responsible for baggage service functions of filing loss, damage, and pilferage claims.
  • Offers efficient and professional customer service and resolves passenger problems as required.
  • Coordinates with all departments to ensure operational needs are met, including catering, fueling, and maintenance companies.
  • Acts as a company representative when assigned.
  • Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Minimum Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
