Flooring Concepts in North Olmsted, OH is looking for part–time, seasonal - vendor customer representatives to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• This is a customer service position. No sales. Product knowledge and services is not needed. You do not need to approach customers. Responsible for taking information, handing out product literature. This position does not require handling of questions.

Job Requirements

1. Active driver’s license and use of personal vehicle
2. Standing and greeting customer 
3. Traveling to two different locations on separate days
4. Handing out literature when a customer approaches
5. Restocking literature
6. On rare occasion, traveling to showroom to load kiosk, then unloading and setting up at store, then returning kiosk to showroom. Requires use of personal vehicle.

 

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift about 15 pounds occasionally. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Walking. Bending on occasion. Frequent standing on a concrete floor. Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity. 

 

Other Mandatory Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Due to contractual obligations, over age eighteen years of age required
• Subject to drug screening and background check
• Must have personal cell phone with ability to download and use several business apps

 

Schedule

Seasonal from January through October, commonly Thursday through Sunday on a fixed work schedule. Daytime hours. Twice a month at consistent retail locations. Fixed location, one store per week, in western suburbs. Lunch and breaks factored into schedule. Typically, four to six hours per day, possible up to eight hours. Total work time per week is approximately 8 to 18 hours. Total of work hours per month varies. 

 

Working Conditions/Environment

Indoors, environmentally controlled. Clean, safe and well-established locations. Food and beverage with dine in area for eating available on site.
