Job Description - Remote Call Center Assistant

Job Description:


We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated Remote Call Center Assistant to join our team at U.S. Bancorp in New York City, New York. As a part-time Associate Level employee, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service over the phone to our clients. This position requires at least 3 years of experience in a call center or customer service role.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming calls from customers and provide assistance with their inquiries or concerns. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up with clients and provide updates on their accounts. 3. Research customer accounts and provide accurate information to resolve issues. 4. Negotiate repayment plans with customers who are experiencing financial difficulties. 5. Collaborate with team members to meet daily call volume and customer service goals. 6. Document all communication with customers accurately in the system. 7. Participate in training sessions to improve customer service skills and knowledge of company products. 8. Contribute to a positive and professional working environment.


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult conversations. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficient in computer systems and data entry. 6. Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
