Call Center Associate

Job Description: Marathon Petroleum is seeking a motivated and driven Call Center Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As an Associate Level role, the Call Center Associate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from customers, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with various inquiries and concerns. This position is part-time, offering a flexible schedule for individuals who are looking to gain valuable experience in the customer service industry.

Responsibilities: - Handle incoming calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner - Assist customers with product inquiries, billing issues, and general questions - Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or provide additional information - Document all customer interactions accurately in the company's database - Meet or exceed call volume and quality metrics to ensure customer satisfaction - Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers - Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with CRM software - Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Innovative mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and processes - High school diploma or equivalent required
