Remote Call Center Manager

Job Description:

Valero Energy is seeking a passionate and energetic Remote Call Center Manager to join our team in San Jose, California. As a part-time role with mid-to-senior level seniority, this position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in call center management.

Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee a team of remote call center agents - Develop and implement call center strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction - Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed - Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are equipped to handle customer inquiries effectively - Analyze call center data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions - Collaborate with other departments to improve overall customer experience - Maintain a positive and motivating work environment for remote team members - Handle escalated customer calls and resolve issues in a timely manner

Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in call center management - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a remote team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to solve problems - Strong persuasion skills to influence team members and drive results - Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficiency in call center software and other relevant tools - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
