Call Center Officer

Job Description:

Big Lots is seeking a reliable and resilient Call Center Officer to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a part-time entry-level position, the Call Center Officer will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, providing excellent customer service, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on customer requests, resolve issues, and gather additional information. 3. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions. 4. Use effective communication skills to de-escalate customer complaints and provide satisfactory resolutions. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service delivery. 6. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding call center operations. 7. Meet and exceed performance targets and goals set by the company.

Requirements: 1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role. 2. Strong project management and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. 3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 4. Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations. 5. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 6. Resilient and able to adapt to changing circumstances. 7. High school diploma or equivalent. 8. Proficient in basic computer skills and knowledge of call center technology.
