Call Center Specialist

Job Description: Republic Services is seeking a part-time Call Center Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C. This entry-level position involves providing exceptional customer service and support to individuals contacting the company's call center. The successful candidate will handle inbound and outbound calls, address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on Republic Services' products and services.

Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally 2. Provide accurate information to customers regarding services, billing, and account inquiries 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner 4. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction 5. Utilize negotiation and strategic planning skills to retain customers and promote upselling opportunities 6. Document all customer interactions in the company's database 7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience 8. Meet or exceed call center performance metrics 9. Stay updated on company policies, products, and services 10. Maintain a positive attitude and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration in the call center environment

Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role preferred 2. Energetic and dedicated personality traits 3. Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software 7. High school diploma or equivalent required
