Job Description - Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


Gap is seeking a passionate and energetic Chat Support Manager to join our team in New York City. As a part-time Chat Support Manager at Gap, you will be responsible for overseeing the chat support team, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving key performance metrics.


Responsibilities: - Manage a team of chat support representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service delivery - Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the chat support team - Monitor chat conversations to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company policies - Analyze chat support performance data and identify trends to make informed business decisions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the chat support process and enhance the customer experience - Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Represent Gap in a positive and professional manner when interacting with customers and stakeholders


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - 6+ years of experience in customer service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Exceptional organizational and time management abilities - Strategic planning and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and chat support platforms


Personality Traits: - Passionate about customer service and team development - Energetic and enthusiastic about driving results


Soft Skills: - Strategic planning to optimize chat support operations - Effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
