Remote Chat Support Representative

Job Description:

As a Remote Chat Support Representative at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat support. This part-time position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina and is at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and issues via chat in a timely and professional manner - Resolve customer concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency - Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions - Utilize research skills to quickly find solutions to customer inquiries - Demonstrate confidence in handling difficult situations and challenging customers - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery - Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy - Strive to meet and exceed performance goals and metrics set by the company

Requirements: - Hardworking and confident personality traits to effectively communicate with customers - Strong research skills to quickly find solutions and information - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple chat conversations at once - Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and customer service software - Previous experience in a customer service or support role preferred - People management skills to de-escalate conflicts and create positive experiences for customers
