Job Description:
Stripe is looking for a hardworking and reliable Contact Center Assistant to join our team in San Jose, California. As a Contact Center Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our contact center team and assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and emails from customers in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with inquiries, issues, and requests, providing accurate information and solutions. 3. Conduct research to resolve complex customer concerns and provide follow-up as needed. 4. Collaborate with team members to escalate unresolved issues and ensure timely resolution. 5. Process customer orders, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures. 6. Utilize negotiation skills to handle challenging customer interactions and reach mutually beneficial outcomes. 7. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database. 8. Assist in training new contact center staff and provide ongoing support as needed. 9. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency. 10. Adhere to company guidelines and standards for quality assurance and compliance.
Requirements: 1. 3 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. 2. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. 3. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. 4. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. 5. Excellent research skills and attention to detail. 6. Demonstrated negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities. 7. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. 8. Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
