Job Description - Contact Center Assistant

Job Description:


Owens-Illinois is seeking a motivated and resourceful Contact Center Assistant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This part-time entry-level position offers an opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in customer service and contact center operations.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a prompt and professional manner - Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, orders, and general inquiries - Maintain customer records and logs of interactions for reference and analysis - Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members for resolution - Assist in updating and maintaining contact center databases and systems - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer service experiences


Requirements: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software - Excellent presentation skills and a willingness to take on leadership roles as needed - High school diploma or equivalent required
