Job Description:
American Electric Power is seeking a passionate and energetic Customer Care Officer to join our team in San Diego, California. As a part-time Associate Level position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients while promoting our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner. 2. Assist customers with account inquiries, billing questions, and service requests. 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction. 4. Process customer orders and returns accurately and efficiently. 5. Maintain customer records and update databases with relevant information. 6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 7. Provide feedback on customer trends and issues to help improve products and services. 8. Assist in developing and implementing customer care strategies to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 4. Creativity and project management skills to assist in implementing customer care initiatives. 5. Knowledge of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices preferred. 6. Must be passionate about providing top-notch customer service. 7. Energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards customer care. 8. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
