Customer Service Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking and driven Customer Service Assistant to join our team at Square in San Diego, California. As an entry-level position with one year of experience, the Customer Service Assistant will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner. 2. Handle and resolve customer complaints in a calm and empathetic manner. 3. Assist customers with product information, pricing, and order processing. 4. Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department for resolution. 5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Collaborate with other team members to improve overall customer satisfaction. 7. Stay current on product knowledge and updates to effectively assist customers. 8. Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the customer service team.

Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 5. Leadership qualities and the ability to work well in a team. 6. Innovative mindset to suggest new ideas for improving customer service. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software is a plus.
