Job Description - Remote Customer Service Assistant

Job Description:


Western Union is seeking a part-time Remote Customer Service Assistant to join our team in New York City, New York. As an Associate level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer service and possess a confident and resilient personality. Strong soft skills in leadership and planning are also required for success in this position.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and issues via phone, email, and chat - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving complaints in a timely manner - Process transactions accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies


Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service - Confident and resilient personality traits - Strong leadership and planning skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software - High school diploma or equivalent required, additional education or certifications a plus
