Job Description:

NiSource is seeking a Remote Customer Service Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are hardworking, energetic, and possess strong emotional intelligence and teamwork skills. As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients over the phone, email, and chat.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information in a professional and timely manner. 2. Assist customers with account management, billing inquiries, and troubleshooting technical issues. 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy and efficiency. 4. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through active listening and problem-solving skills. 5. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 6. Adhere to company policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of service.

Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Strong organizational and time-management skills. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 6. Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
