Customer Service Officer

Job Description:

Essendant is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Customer Service Officer to join our team in San Francisco, California. As a part-time Associate Level role, the Customer Service Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat 2. Provide accurate information and support to customers regarding products, orders, and services 3. Process customer orders and returns in a timely and efficient manner 4. Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally 5. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and provide solutions 6. Maintain customer records and assist with data entry as needed 7. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements: 1. 3+ years of experience in a customer service role 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 3. Ability to adapt to different situations and handle challenging customer interactions 4. Excellent problem-solving abilities 5. Detail-oriented and organized 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software 7. Must be adaptable and hardworking
