Live Chat Officer

Job Description:

Office Depot is seeking a part-time Live Chat Officer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an entry-level position requiring at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, confident, have strong decision-making skills, and possess a creative mindset.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers via live chat to provide product information, answer inquiries, and assist with purchases - Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Monitor chat metrics and provide input for improving chat services - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions - Demonstrate a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers - Uphold company policies and procedures in all interactions

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent written communication skills - Ability to multitask and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously - Proficiency in computer skills and experience with chat platforms - Strong decision-making abilities and creativity in problem-solving - Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work in a fast-paced environment
