Online Account Support Associate

Job Description:

Desktop Metal is seeking a part-time Online Account Support Associate to join our team in San Jose, California. As an Associate Level employee with at least 2 years of experience, you will be responsible for providing online support to our valued account holders.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide guidance and assistance with account setup, troubleshooting, and general inquiries. 3. Conduct research to assist customers with product information, technical specifications, and pricing. 4. Manage customer accounts, including updates, changes, and verification processes. 5. Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services. 6. Assist with order processing, shipping logistics, and tracking customer shipments. 7. Monitor account activity and report any unusual or potentially fraudulent behavior. 8. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system. 9. Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer suggestions and feedback. 10. Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products, services, and promotions to customers.

Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in a customer support or account management role. 2. Driven and adaptable personality traits to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 3. Strong research skills to quickly find solutions to customer inquiries. 4. Excellent people management skills to efficiently handle customer interactions. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. 6. Knowledge of manufacturing or technology industries is a plus. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
