Job Description - Online Call Center Specialist

Expedia is currently seeking an Online Call Center Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Online Call Center Specialist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service through online channels.


Responsibilities: 1. Answering customer inquiries via online chat, email, and social media platforms. 2. Resolving customer issues and escalating complex cases to the appropriate department. 3. Providing information on Expedia's products, services, and promotions. 4. Assisting customers with booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and car rentals. 5. Conducting research to find solutions to customer inquiries and complaints. 6. Utilizing decision-making skills to efficiently resolve customer issues. 7. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.


Requirements: 1. 4 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment. 2. A dedicated and passionate attitude towards helping customers. 3. Strong decision-making and research skills. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online customer service platforms. 7. Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
