Job Description - Online Contact Center Representative

Job Description:


Discover Financial Services is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Online Contact Center Representative in San Diego, California. This part-time entry-level position will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the financial services industry while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via online chat, email, and phone in a timely and professional manner - Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding their accounts, products, and services - Resolve customer complaints and issues by utilizing problem-solving skills and effective communication - Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals and metrics - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide top-notch service to customers


Requirements: - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Driven and reliable with a strong work ethic - Ability to problem-solve and think critically in high-pressure situations - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on cooperation and empathy - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively - Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - High school diploma or equivalent - No previous experience required
