Job Description - Online Customer Care Associate

Job Description:


Sempra Energy is seeking a confident and dedicated Online Customer Care Associate to join our team in Austin, Texas. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an online setting.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries through various online channels such as email, chat, and social media platforms. 2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 3. Utilize critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and problem-solve customer issues efficiently and effectively. 4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and customer needs are addressed promptly. 5. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and provide comprehensive solutions to customers. 6. Document customer interactions and feedback to improve overall customer experience and service delivery. 7. Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in an online environment. 2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment. 4. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques. 5. Excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. 6. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
