Job Description - Online Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:


CBS is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Online Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and hardworking, with strong soft skills in strategic planning and decision-making.


Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues via online platforms such as email, chat, and social media - Providing timely and accurate information to customers regarding products, services, and policies - Collaborating with other departments to address customer concerns and improve the overall customer experience - Managing customer accounts and updating customer information as needed - Monitoring online customer reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement - Assisting with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management


Requirements: - Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an online environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency with online communication tools and software - High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
