Job Description:
New York Life Insurance is seeking a Remote Web Chat Manager to join our team in San Jose, California. This part-time position is ideal for a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 6 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be energetic and independent, with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the web chat platform, including monitoring chat conversations, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring a high level of customer service. 2. Train and support a team of remote chat agents, providing guidance and feedback to improve their performance. 3. Collaborate with other team members and departments to integrate chat services into broader customer service strategies. 4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for web chat technology and customer service. 5. Analyze chat data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 6. Develop and implement chat scripts and responses to common customer inquiries. 7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in customer service or web chat management. 3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Excellent organizational and time management skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines. 7. Proficiency in web chat software and customer management systems. 8. Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations is a plus.
