Remote Web Chat Representative

Job Description:

American Electric Power is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Web Chat Representative to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Associate Level position, the Remote Web Chat Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support to customers.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through web chat to provide information, assistance, and support regarding products and services. 2. Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner. 3. Utilize decision-making skills to handle escalated customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions. 4. Demonstrate creativity in finding innovative ways to improve the customer experience. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and effective communication with customers. 6. Meet performance metrics and service level agreements set by the company. 7. Continuously learn and stay updated on company products, policies, and procedures.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong decision-making ability and problem-solving skills. 4. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 5. Proficiency in computer software and online chat platforms. 6. Dedication and passion for providing top-notch customer service. 7. Ability to think creatively and find solutions to customer issues.
