Support Manager - Remote Work

Job Description:

Eastman Chemical is seeking a part-time Support Manager to join our team in San Jose, California. This position will be remote work, offering the opportunity for a flexible work schedule. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of support staff to ensure the efficient operation of our business processes.

Responsibilities: 1. Lead and motivate a team of support staff to achieve department goals and objectives. 2. Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing any performance issues as needed. 3. Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency. 4. Monitor and report on team performance metrics to senior management. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of support services. 6. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely manner. 7. Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of support staff. 8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in support management.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. 2. 7 years of experience in support management or a similar role. 3. Strong leadership and people management skills. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 5. Proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving targets. 6. Motivated and adaptable personality traits. 7. Efficient time management skills. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
