A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
As a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian, you ensure that all our clients have positive experiences with our clinic, whether they have two legs or four. This is a dynamic position where you perform a wide range of tasks, and no two days are the same. Depending on the day, you could be offering routine and preventative care, completing soft tissue surgery, performing dental procedures, diagnosing medical problems, or prescribing treatments.
As needed, you take x-rays and perform ultrasounds to get an inside look at our patients. You maintain documentation for every patient and appointment, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. While you work, you take the time to educate owners on general pet care and answer any questions they may have. We have many regular clients, so you'll become familiar with some of the patients and form bonds with the pet and its owner. You love getting to work with so many great animals and people, and you take pride in the exceptional care you provide them!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
This veterinary position can be either full- or part-time ! You can typically expect to work 31 - 34 hours per week during the following schedule:
You have one weekday off and alternating Saturdays off . We're very flexible with hours and will make a schedule that works for you! If it works best for you, we could accommodate for unique hours depending on the situation. Surgeries and dental procedures are generally completed in the mornings, and outpatient services are offered in the afternoons. Our animal hospital is closed on Sundays , and no after-hours emergency calls are required!
