Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Help Desk Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is designed for individuals passionate about technology and customer service, with a focus on providing support to clients in the financial services sector. As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive prompt and efficient assistance with their technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming client inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide first-line technical support for various financial services applications and systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Document and track all support requests using our ticketing system, ensuring accurate information is recorded for future reference.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to escalate complex issues and ensure swift resolution.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding tickets to ensure client satisfaction and timely closure.
- Assist in creating and updating FAQs, knowledge base articles, and user guides to enhance the overall support experience.
- Participate in training sessions for new tools, systems, and procedures to stay updated on the latest technology.
- Conduct regular quality checks to identify potential areas for improvement in support processes and client interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent some college coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service or help desk support role, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, software applications, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop tools is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, with a rotating shift schedule of 5 days a week and weekends off.
Work Schedule:
- Part-Time: 5 days per week with rotating shifts.
- Weekends Off.
- Flexible hours to accommodate various time zones across the US.
