Cafeteria Attendant - Part-Time

Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Cafeteria Attendant to join this gorgeous Atlanta property!

Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences ), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

• Classification: Part-Time
• Shift: Primarily will be 3 shifts per week, Sunday-Tuesday, 10am-7pm. This is subject to change. 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our team members.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Must work as a team player and assist the Cafeteria Cook or Steward when needed.
• Maintain proper grooming standards, appearance and demeanor.

What will I be doing?

As a Cafeteria Attendant, you would be responsible for providing food and beverage service to team members in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform pre-meal and post-meal side work such as salad bar prep, dessert prep, etc.
• Be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary supplies from kitchen to set up cafeteria during schedule hours of service.
• Perform all clean up duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, cleaning salad bar, etc.
• Set up and maintain food line and salad bar as needed on a timely basis.
• Report any guest/team member dissatisfaction to Supervisor for resolution.
