As a Cook I, you'll collaborate closely with our culinary leadership to curate menus that celebrate seasonal ingredients and our restaurant's unique concept.
Assist the Chef in food production and fabrication across all dining areas of the hotel.
Maintain optimal production levels by providing passive leadership to kitchen staff.
Expand your culinary expertise by mastering various cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, and frying.
Share your culinary knowledge by teaching and recreating recipes.
Ensure consistency in food preparation and minimize waste through ingredient cross-utilization.
Set up kitchen workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and butchering meat.
Uphold a pristine and sanitized work environment.
Ensure proper food storage and ingredient quality.
Possession of an active Food Handler's certification or the ability to obtain one.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational abilities to manage kitchen tasks efficiently.
Capability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
Enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for cooking.
