Job Description - Mind-Body Instructor - Part-Time

Mind-Body Instructor (part-time) Title: Mind-Body Instructor (part-time) Location: Upper East Side Org Unit: GIM Clinical Operations Support Work Days: Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $31.26 - $38.19 *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
Position Summary Initiates private and group sessions within the Integrative Health and Wellbeing program which combines traditional and complimentary interventions to support patients' health and well-being. This role collaborates with Integrative Health colleagues to create programs tailored to individual needs. Job Responsibilities

  • Creates programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Facilitates Pilates, Yoga, QiGong Tai Chi, Movement and Relaxation programs
  • Provides a range of effective techniques to maximize mind body recovery
  • Collaborates with program colleagues regarding issues related to their patients that come up in group sessions
Education

  • High School Diploma
Experience


Approximately 2 years of related experience.


Expertise in Pilates, Yoga, QiGong Tai Chi, Movement and Relaxation techniques


Certification in Pilates or Yoga

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
