Job Summary:

The Hotel Food & Beverage Utility Person welcomes and interacts with our Guests in a positive and friendly manner. They assist with general organization and cleanliness of our hotel restaurants by completing tasks, including but not limited to: bussing tables, delivering food to guests in Quick Service Locations, disposing of trash, maintaining the cleanliness of all the restaurant areas.

Responsibilities:

• Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining rooms
• Arranges, cleans, sanitizes, and maintains tables, chairs, trash cans, liners and umbrellas
• Polish brass, metal and wood grain surfaces
• Maintains the cleanliness of all restaurant areas including kitchen and seating area
• Sweeps and mops dining areas, kitchen floors and backstage areas
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage & cardboard and places it designated containers
• Transports dirty trays, plates and silverware to dish room area
• Maintains the cleanliness and replenish fountain beverage and condiment stations
• Provides efficient and friendly service to all Guests
• Assists the Receiver whenever appropriate
• Responsible for assembling and delivering guest orders

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must meet the physical demands, including but not limited to: bending and lifting between 25-75lbs, frequently twisting and kneeling, constant use of hands, using repetitive wrist motion, and ability to work in extreme temperature changes
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or part of a team
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast pace environment
• Enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
• Flexible/Adaptable
• Can complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Food & Beverage experience

The pay rate for this role in California is $18.00 per hour. SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
