Role Overview: We're seeking a motivated and dedicated Advocacy Manager/Senior Manager to join our team. Reporting to the President & CEO or Director of Advocacy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our advocacy and policy initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage and update our advocacy website, including web content and downloadable materials. Maintain and update information on SoftEdge, our online government relations tool. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop annual communication plans for advocacy initiatives. Produce and analyze advocacy impact reports. Cultivate and manage relationships with partner advocacy organizations. Support the advancement of key policies related to infectious disease and public health. Organize advocacy trainings and oversee logistical arrangements. Handle administrative tasks for the advocacy pillar, including meeting agendas and correspondence management. Contribute to strategic plan objectives and fundraising initiatives. Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience supporting advocacy initiatives (Manager), or 5+ years (Senior Manager), preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectors. Minimum 2 years of remote work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interest in healthcare policy and public health issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and Salesforce. Experience with website editing, preferably WordPress. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Additional Details: Part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week). Remote position, open to candidates from all locations. Proximity to Washington, D.C. is preferred but not required.
