The Culture, Families, and Early Development Research Team is seeking a Spanish-speaking research associate for a new project that leverages an existing partnership between the PIs and Grail Family Services (GFS), a community-based organization located in Northern California. The project ( Uno, dos, tres, matematicas todos podemos hacer: Elevating the math in the daily routines of home-based childcare settings ) is funded by the Heising-Simons Foundation to design, pilot, and study the implementation of an early math professional development program for Spanish-speaking home-based providers. The research associate will support the PIs (Gigliana Melzi and Nydia Prishker) in all project-related activities. The position may involve travel to the San Jose, CA area from NYC.
Position Responsibilities
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base rate for this position is $28.25-$30/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Per NYU's remote-work policy, this position is expected to be completely in-person.
