Part-Time Meal Delivery Driver

We are looking for a dedicated Part -Time Meal Delivery Driver to help serve clients in our programs, from our daycare to our youth & adult programs. At New Horizon Community Care, you'll play a vital role in our journey, responsible for transporting healthy and nutritious meals to our clients in the Phoenix Metro area, from our Culinary Center in Chandler to our locations in Tempe, Phoenix, Glendale, and Casa Grande. Your role extends beyond mere delivery; it encompasses embodying NHCC values of commitment, purpose, and integrity through exemplary customer service and professionalism.

ABOUT NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE (NHCC)

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency specializing in residential and outpatient behavioral health services, serving at-risk children, teens, and adults all around the valley.

Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages, and empowers clients to enhance their self-esteem and modify their behaviors in order to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups, and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths, capabilities and improve decision-making skills.

Schedule :

• Monday through Friday 8AM-2PM

Must Haves:

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid AZ Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record

*APPLICANTS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE CRIMINAL HISTORY SELF-DISCLOSURE AFFIDAVITS AND OBTAIN AN ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) LEVEL 1 FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD, WHICH INVOLVES A STATE AND FEDERAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.*

Salary: (Based on experience and education)

• $16.00 - $17.00 an hour

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency
• Represent New Horizon Community Care in a positive light by upholding our core values
• Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
• Complete some kitchen tasks and light meal prep as directed
• Meet with Culinary Center Chef on shift to receive specific duty(s) on current shift
• Adhere to NHCC rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
