Security Officer - Part-time Weekends

We are the US subsidiary of a German-based leading independent producer of crankshafts, "the heart of every engine."

In Europe, we produce crankshafts for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW, Audi, Renault, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and many more.

In North America, we produce crankshafts for GM, Ford, Mercury and many more.

We are now expanding our plant to a new 2nd line.

The Security Officer oversees our premises and ensures the safety of our clients, workers, and visitors. In addition, you will be in charge of detecting any suspicious activity and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patrolling the building perimeter and premises
• Noting the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals.
• Directing visitors to reception and logging their entry to the premises.
• Monitoring our video surveillance system and reviewing footage if necessary.
• Responding to alarms and calls of security concern.
• Keeping daily logs of activities and any issues addressed.
• Answering phones and responding to other inquiries at the security desk.
• Alerting authorities if needed for emergencies or security breaches.
• Addressing any infractions of building rules and/or forwarding them to the appropriate level of management.
• Inspecting, testing, and maintaining our security systems, as well as calling for maintenance as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed High School Diploma or GED program*
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to work a variable shift schedule including night and weekend shifts.
