Communications Specialist

Job Description:

eBay is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an entry-level member of our communications team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of communications strategies to promote the company's brand and products.

Responsibilities: - Assist in creating content for press releases, social media, blog posts, and other communication materials - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms - Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for senior management - Assist in organizing events, press conferences, and other promotional activities - Provide support in crisis communication situations as needed - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communications

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field - 1 year of experience in a communications role - Driven and confident personality traits - Strong leadership and strategic planning skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
